SYNTHESIS Ian Garlant 17 November to 17 December 2011 Synthesis I: Thursday 17 November to Saturday 17 December 2011 Synthesis II: Thursday 24 November to Monday 28 November 2011 Andipa Contemporary is delighted to announce Ian Garlant is back in London after his first sucessful show (curated by Kay Saatchi) with: SYNTHESIS I - 17.11 to 17.12.11 Sculptures created in the minus 25 degree Norwegian winter inspired by the discovery of Virgil's words 'love conquers all; let us yield to love' inscribed in runes in the remains of a fire in Bergen. On show at Andipa Gallery SYNTHESIS II - 25.11 to 28.11.11 Large scale installations by Ian Garlant with contemporary Norwegian Designers, Oscar Narud and Amy Hunting, responding to the industrial space and his work at our temporary project space, THE GARAGE 1 North Terrace, London SW3 2BA. Relax with coffee, cake; peruse books on Norwegian art and design whilst wrapped in Norwegian blankets. Kindly supported by the Brompton Design District and the Norwegian Embassy.
