Works on Paper

Kick-starting our 2005 exhibition programme is a major retrospective of Damien Hirst’s original work and unique prints.

Hirst has established himself as the most recognized talent arising from the Young British Artists collective, and his work continues to have an important impact on the market. His recent Pharmacy Sale at Sotheby’s was hugely successful, and since then his popularity has significantly increased along with the demand for his prints and his popular spot etchings.

This exhibition features multiple collections of Hirst’s work including rare works on paper, the complete ‘Last Supper Series’ set, as well as several new limited edition prints. Notable pieces from the exhibition are his famous and much sought after print, ‘Valium’ and Hirst’s new limited edition prints, ‘Cineole’, ‘Cinchonidine’ and ‘Ciclopirox Olamine’.

From Hirst’s earlier works completed circa 1990, a number of original spin paintings on paper will be available, as well as several personal drawings given to friends, one of whom was a doorman at a famous London nightspot, the Met Bar.

During the exhibition period, the gallery will be giving away rare Hirst beer glasses, which have become sought after collectables due to their limited availability.

This exciting exhibition presenting masterpieces from an already world famous artist, whose work continues to grow in success and value is really not to be missed.

Damien HIrst ‘ Works on Paper’ exhibition will open on Thursday 3rd February showing until 24 February. Please contact the gallery for exhibition details, sales enquiries and private view requests.
