In 2004 Banksy produced a large amount of fake ten Pound banknotes, which were then released at the Notting Hill Carnival. The fake banknotes also appeared in ‘Exit Through The Gift Shop’.

Di Faced Notes are one of Banksy’s most renown pieces, and he uses the serial number inscribed on them to guarantee the authenticity of his artwork.

The screenprint, presenting an image of both sides of the banknote repeated five times, is part of an edition of 32.
