Installation artist and sculptress Angela Glajcar is currently having a solo exhibition at Galerie Martin Kudlek, Cologne. The show entitled ‘White Glass’ is running from 18th January till 15th March. The centerpiece of the exhibition is an eponymous large-scale installation (350 x 550 x 160 cm), which consists of seven sheets of translucent glass fabric. Scissors have been used to cut the fabric, and individual threads have been extracted with tweezers. The artist has introduced flaws into the layered sheets, which open up a space that makes it possible to look into the work, but not through the resulting space.
